2018 PVSL Championship

Another impressive season by the Bulldogs ended in heartache in the semi-finals of the 2018 PVSL Playoffs.

Coming into the playoffs, the Bulldogs were ranked 2nd, only behind the powerhouse Beeraucrats. Once again this year, the Bulldogs went 3-0 in the playoffs and faced Chuck's Legacies in the semis. However, unlike 2017 where they took out the 6-time champion...the Bulldogs dropped a tight 17-14 loss to the Legacies, who went on to face the mighty Beeraucrats in the finals.

Congrats go to the Beeraucrats on winning their first ever PVSL Chamopionship after losing 3 of the past 4 years in the finals.

2017 PVSL Championship

Coming into the 2017 PVSL Championships, the Bulldogs were ranked 4th.  However, they decided to turn the tables on the top 3 teams and go 3-0 in the playoffs and go into the semi-finals as the top team

And in those said semi-finals, the Dogs for the 2nd time in the playoffs, beat the defending champions Chuck's Legacies to make it to the finals against the Brewers.  However, after a few interesting opening innings, the Bulldogs could not fight their way back on top and eventually lost by a score of 16-10.

Congrats go to the Brewers on their first ever PVSL Championship.

2016 PVSL Championship

After an unbelievable 20th season and 1st ever Place Vanier Softball League championship, the Bulldogs could not repeat in 2016 :(

Starting the playoffs on the Wednesday preceding the usual Saturday tournament, the Dogs lost their opener to newly named Chuck's Legacies.  That was followed with another loss to Regular Season Champions Beeraucrats on Saturday morning.  To have any chance to make it to the semi-finals, the Dogs pulled out a win in their 3rd game against QAAT Crewsaders. The win was a bit controversial, as the final out was called just after the winning run crossed the homeplate line.

Then the wait began.  Needing some key wins and loses by the other teams, the Bulldogs fell short of making the semis due to another (3rd) tie in the playoffs...this time by the same Crewsaders team.  With the tie, their 1-2 record didn't push the Dogs thru, as they sat at Mel's Diner in disbelief.

Congrats go to Chuck's Legacies, as they win their 6th league title since 1997.

2015 PVSL Championship

The Bulldogs are 2015 PVSL Champions!!!

I'll say that again...the Bulldogs are 2015 PVSL Champions!!!

After 20 seasons playing in the Place Vanier Softball League, the Dogs have finally clinched their first ever playoff championship.

Starting the day off slowly, the Bulldogs lost their first game to the Monitor Lizards.  But that was just a warm-up.  After beating the Legacies for the second time in 3 days by just a single run, they beat down the Brewers to advance to the semi-finals as the #1 ranked team.  In the semis, this time the Dogs hammered the Lizards to reach the finals against the regular season champions Beeraucrats.  And in the finals, after going 7 innings without a winner, it took the Dogs just one extra inning to get that coveted win and the PVSL trophey.
